Right2Grow national launch in Uganda

“I jump on board when I see something has to change.”, says Sarah, member of the women caucus and representing Namayumba at local government district Wakiso, Uganda.

We are excited to announce tomorrow’s national launch of Right2Grow in Uganda on September 30th. Right2Grow colleagues in Uganda will discuss fostering a multi-stakeholder involvement and investment in harnessing the growth of every child to reach their potential in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond. As our chief guest we are welcoming Rt. Hon. Justine Kasule Lumumba, Minister at the Office of the Prime Minister.

The event will be an opportunity to reflect on the current situation of malnutrition in Uganda and explore existing coordination and collaboration avenues that will provide a springboard for the project implementation, draw commitment and buy-in from various stakeholders to support Right2Grow Uganda, provide in-depth understanding of the project, network and build relationships.

Present at the event will be all Right2Grow Consortium members, Parliamentarians, Academia, CSOs, young mothers, youth, donors of nutrition initiatives, to mention but a few.

Do not miss hearing from powerful women like Sarah, from young mothers, engage in the panel discussion, listen to presentations on nutrition, the amazing ribbon cutting ceremony and much more that we have in store for you.
